What do you do outside of work?

Spend time with my girls -Alice and Laura, my 3 sisters and my parents.  We are very close.  Gardening.  Catching up with friends for a wine.  Spending time at the family farm or at Victor.

What are you most proud about?

My two gorgeous girls and the wonderful business I have established.

Can you share an embarrassing moment?

“Ummm…… I needed to purchase a hedge trimmer and didn’t want it too large or heavy.  When I asked for a “ladies’ hedge trimmer” at Bunnings, the man looked at me rather quizzically.  I couldn’t understand why until I repeated the story to a friend.”

What do you most love about coming to work each day?

The beautiful clients who we work with and my supportive work family.I truly love my job and each day is surprising and interesting.

Kate has more than 15 years’ experience in financial services. Previously working in education, she prides herself on working with client in understanding their position and explaining strategies. Kate has also worked extensively in aged care advice, assisting client navigating the complex fee structure of home care, retirement village and aged care residential care.

What do you do outside of work?

When not at work I enjoy keeping fit and running around a hockey field. I also enjoys spending time with her family, her husband Karl, 2 daughters Abbey and Eliza and labradoodle Cederick.

What are you most proud about?

Having a beautiful family and building a successful business.

Can you share an embarrassing moment?

When cooking I normally have a tea towel on my shoulder. My girls were horrified when I accidently went to supermarket with the tea towel still on my shoulder.

What do you most love about coming to work each day?

The relationships I have with my valued clients and staff and sharing with them life’s financial journey. I love sharing my knowledge and making a difference even if only small.
